On 20 October we met at The Spencer Hotel to hear from a Hollywood superstar whose work you have undoubtedly seen in your lifetime. Elaina Scott, 3D Previz Artist.
Elaina Scott is a well renowned CG artist in the video game, visual effects and feature animations industry, with a vast and impressive portfolio of projects. Her first job in the animation industry was on The South Park Movie: Bigger, Longer & Uncut, while she was still at college. She also worked on The Simpsons and on Star Wars Galaxies, a massive multiplayer game released in the year 2000. Since graduating in 2002, she has worked on titles such as Iron Man 3, Avengers 2, The Hunger Games, Fast Five, Insurgent, Transformers 4, TMNT, and The Fantastic Four. She is currently working on animations for television series such as The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow, and is the animation supervisor for Supergirl on the CW.
Elaina spoke to us about Previz and how it fits into production, followed by a Q&A session and drinks.
